NICOLE CRADDOCK

Nicole is a physiotherapist specialising in neuromusculoskeletal, orthopaedic and sports-related conditions. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy in 2014 at UCT graduating with distinction. 

In 2015 Nicole completed her community serivce year at St. Andrews Hospital in Harding, KZN. Here she worked with in- and out-patients in a predominantly rural setting gaining experience in paediatric-related conditions, stroke rehab and post-operative care.

Nicole then went on to work in private practice on the South Coast of KZN. Here she worked with a highly recognised sports physio and so her passion for sports and sports-related rehabilitation and management grew. Nicole then returned to Cape Town in 2017 where she worked at a private practice in the Southern Suburbs whilst completing her Masters degree in Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy. Nicole graduated with distinction in 2020. During this time Nicole has published two papers in the South African Journal of Sports Medicine.

As an avid runner and cyclist Nicole decided to open 'Nicole Craddock Physiotherapy' in the hope of providing patients with specialised, patient-centred care in order to minimise the risk of injury and maximise performance, function and quality of life.

Nicole is currently the Physiotherapist for Reddam High School as well as running her own practice. If you can't find her there you might find her outside on the road or mountain or even at a wine farm.

JACQUI BOOYSEN

Jacqueline Booysen is an experienced Physiotherapist (UCT) with 9 years clinical working experience. During this time she has enjoyed making a positive difference in people’s lives by reducing their pain, rehabilitating their physical capability and optimising their function holistically.

 

She always gives empathic care whilst ensuring the client feels they are in skilled, nurturing hands. Her additional skills include dry needling, having completed both ODNS dry needling 1&2; Bachelor of Music in Dance (UCT); Watsu Practitioner (WABA) and qualified Cechetti Ballet teacher.

 

She enjoys spending her free time outdoors with her husband and their two adorable young children and socialising with good friends. Jacqueline thrives on attending regular High Intensity Interval Training gym classes. Being fit and strong really helps keep her focused, happy and grounded. She strives for a good work-life balance.

TASHA AINSWORTH

Tasha Ainsworth is a dedicated and performance-driven physiotherapist, who completed her Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy (Hons) at Stellenbosch University (2022) as the top achiever of her class in all four years of study. Thereafter, she completed her community service in the rural Eastern Cape, where she treated a variety of in- and out-patients with neurological, cardiopulmonary, and musculoskeletal conditions. She is currently studying a Masters in Physiotherapy at Stellenbosch University in 2024/2025. She enjoys seeing patients with neuromusculoskeletal and sports conditions, and also locums at Tokai Faircape providing step-down rehabilitation.

She has a passion for continued education and the implementation of evidence-based practice to ensure optimal outcomes for her patients. To do this, she has further equipped herself by completing her Basic Wheelchair Seating course, Dry Needling Level 1 and 2 courses and attended multiple webinars on neurological and musculoskeletal conditions.

As a dedicated modern and ballet dancer, she completed her Advanced 2 RAD ballet with distinction and was the Solo Performers Modern Winner. She graduated with distinction from the distinguished Alvin Ailey School of Dance in New York and hence, knows the multifactorial demands it takes to be an athlete. She hopes that this, coupled with her interest in injury prevention strategies and conditioning, will aid her in rehabilitating patients back to their optimal state of performance.

Tasha strives to implement person-centred care of the highest standard with the goal of reintegration, whether that be back on the stage, the sports field, or the workplace. She believes that a holistic, biopsychosocial approach to management of pain and suboptimal functioning is key to regaining her patients’ quality of life.
